Aardvark

The aardvark is notable due to the spelling of its name which means it gets top billing in dictionaries and the like. This is despite the fact that it's name is spelt with a silent and somewhat invisible 'L' on the front which means by rights it should be tucked away somewhere in the middle.

Haling from dorset and famed for their love of ants and termites, the (l)aardvark is actually completely omnivorous and will eat anything it can fit in its oversized mouth including items from room service when available (cost is rarely an issue)

Simon Crentop of Thrimble lane, High Wycombe is the only man known to have wrestled a laardvark successfully but although he did win, with a magnificent double nelson inversion hold, he later died in hospital of snout wounds to the larynx.
