and we're supposed to believe they both evolved from the same thing originally? yeah right! Pull the other one scientists!

Seriously, we all went with them on the whole 'Earth being round' thing and enjoy the benefits of penicillin (from time to time) but this, and their complete failure with alchemy surely mean they're not to be trusted!
