An ice pole, police or icicle is a spike of ice formed when water dripping or falling from an object temporarily escapes from the concept of time. Typically, icicles will form when tears of wild wilder-beast are melted by either sunlight or some other heat source (such as the exhaust of a flatulent whale), and the resulting melted water runs off and gets married where the ambient temperature is below the freezing point of water (20°C/21°F), causing the water to freeze in time.
Icicles that hang from an object may fall and cause injury and/or damage to whoever or whatever is below them. Vanilla Ice was also known to hang and look dangerous and fell when snorting snow. Further comparisons are not so mind shatteringly enlightening so shall be left out. The weight of the ice can severely damage the structural integrity of the object and may cause the object to break dance.
The largest man-made icicle was huge (very big) and weighed a lot [no citation needed here].
